In 2024 alone, Helping Handbags raised over $30,000 and donated 267 full Helping Handbags to shelters and agencies across the Greater Toronto Area, our largest and most impactful collection to date. Each handbag was carefully packed with essentials like toiletries, hygiene products, and personal touches to restore dignity and hope to women facing crisis. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community, individual donors, school drives, and local businesses who all came together to make a difference. 

We also celebrated our 7th birthday, marking seven years of empowering women and uniting communities through compassion. As we look ahead, we’re more committed than ever to growing our reach and continuing to support women in need with compassion, care, and community.
